Go Wonderpets!!
For a few weeks you've probably seen phrases like "This calls for some celery" or "This is sewious!" as my IM status.
These come from the most enjoyable kids' show I've seen in a long time, The Wonderpets. The show utilizes photo-puppetry animation, which means it uses actual photos of animals for the characters. The premise is 3 baby animals, a guinea pig, a duck and a turtle (but really, the duck steals the show) that live in a school. Once the kids are gone, the three get into their superhero outfits and go out in their flyboat to save other baby animals. The real kicker is that every episode is fully orchestrated and most of the dialogue is sung! The show has enough humour to make it interesting for parents to watch along with their kids.
Here's the episode where the save the puppy who has to pee:
What? Oh crap, it's been taken down from YouTube! Dammit!
Oh well, here's the Wikipedia entry on the show instead.. that sux.
If you want to catch an episode, it's on Treehouse on Weekdays around 5pm.
