Gack! I need a new car!

Ok, I've had it.

I can't tolerate driving an automatic anymore.

For those that don't know, I used to drive a nice sporty Acura Integra. Zoom Zoom! Of course, that was in the B.B. era (Before Baby). I learned to drive standard on that car and quickly fell in love with it. Of course, I had to sell and buy something more baby friendly, Sara's favourite hearse lookalike: The PT Cruiser. It's an "OK" car, but it just doesn't "go" and seems to suck up gas like crazy.

So last night I borrowed my Dad's civic for a few minutes. It's standard, so it reminded me how much FUN driving can be. So yeah, I've got to rid of that PT. I obviously can't get another sports car, still has to be somewhat baby friendly.

I'm open to suggestions!!

Oh, and Sara, I saw a car this week that looks more like a hearse than the PT. You'd love it. I'll try to find you a pic.

Is there a more depressing band than Stabbing Westward?

Have you ever found yourself digging a band, song, album, but never really paid attention to the lyrics?

Maybe it's just me, I've always place more emphasis on the actual music.

I've been into a heavier music phase lately, and one of the bands that has found its way into my CD player lately is Stabbing Westward. I never really paid attention to the lyrics very much before.. but I was listening to one of my favourites, Shame, and was picking up on the lyrics:

Holy crap, that's low, eh? Browse around some of their other stuff, you'll notice quite the theme. Their songwriter has got some SERIOUS baggage!!

In any case, I've listed Shame as song as the day, cause it's still a rockin' tune.

Note to Self

Do not go to the gym and work your arms the day before a scheduled 15+cm of snow is due to fall. And you have a double driveway. And no snowblower. Ouch!
